I am a fine arts photographer with extensive background in graphic design and marketing,
and experience directing an emerging photography institution.

Long Island Center of Photography, 1996 — 2012

The mission of the Long Island Center of Photography (LICP) is to establish a unique educational
and research facility on Long Island for the study of photography and related media and a place
for showcasing contemporary photographic work. To date, we have delivered innovative

Fine Arts Photographer, 1994 — Present
As a fine arts photographer, I have participated in solo and group exhibitions. In addition,
I have curated numerous exhibitions, photography-based speaker programs, and organized
special events while promoting my personal work to collectors.

Dick Lopez Solutions, 1996 — 2013

As a business executive with over twenty-five years of experience in business, marketing, and
communications, I have provided design and consultation services to help reinvigorate small
to medium sized companies.

President and Managing Director
Lopez Salpeter and Associates, 1970 — 1996

Lopez Salpeter and Associates was a full service design and marketing communications firm
working with Fortune 100 Companies. As President and Managing Director, I was responsible
for new business development and for managing all aspects of the business.

Undergraduate study in architecture, design and photography at The City University
of New York, Pratt Institute, and the School of Visual Arts.
